Just got back from Andover Twsp today with some good news. Andover Twsp Recreation Committee in conjunction with the Andvoer Twsp DPW have cleared the heavily overgrown R.O.W from Mulford Road to Lake Iliff Road. All pre-existing structures have been preserved except for the railroad ties which were pushed off to either side. Plenty of telegraph poles to see as well as a mile marker, a few fallen signal towers and several electrical and battery boxes. It was done partially through a grant and monies from Andover Twsp. From what I'm told, a local boy scout organization is hoping to install some informative markers along the approx 1.5 mile stretch. A beautiful place to hike and observe wildlife, with a fantastic view of Lake Iliff. It's great that more and more towns and communities in Sussex and Warren Counties are restoring and preserving the L&HR right of way.
