Anyone know when the CNJ pax line thru A'town was removed? I know CNJ was party over in 1972. The arials from 1972 seems to show the track from the RDG main that came off the wye removed, but there appears to be track on the bridge near Union St and then the CNJ yard and track to the lehigh river seems in place. Anyone know when ATRR gave up operations and track removed?

FWIW, Wikipedia (under ATRR) says CNJ stopped passenger service (presumably just in PA) in 1967. It goes on later to say the ATRR tracks were removed, but doesn't give the date. (Although it references a Historical Society book).

EDIT: saw on a website last night (I think on railfan.net) that after passenger service ended the CNJ still used the ATRR for local freight service, and through freight detours around Allentown yard occasionally. Up to the end of CNJ in PA in 1972. Not sure about if LV operated local freight after that.
