Allentown Hump

Can anyone provide information as to what happened to the SD38/slug sets that used to be used on the hump in Allentown? On my three visits since the end of November they have been using road power (pairs of wide and/or conventional cab six axle GEs) instead of the SD38s. Thanks.

I had heard that the slugs were being rebuilt. Someone had told me that they saw two of the SD38's there a few months back with no slugs attached. The NS 32A came into NJ with one of the rebuilt slugs(possibly #852) in horsehead paint. It left for Allentown a few days later and I believe that slug is currently working out of Conway.
