Observed in Jasper over the weekend, numerous government of Alberta Heritage Fund grain hoppers with the "Take an Alberta Break- visit ____" slogan on these.
Some were in very rough shape so I'm assuming they have been in circulation for quite some time.
Where can one find a list of all the towns and counties that these hoppers are named after???

I'd use a map of Alberta. The slogans on the sides of Alberta government grain hoppers were simply promotional tools to improve Albertas' tourism. The next best thing I can think of offhand that lists the towns on ALPX Hoppers are pictures of the cars themselves. Some here: http://www.mountainrailway.com/Grain%20 ... 20Page.htm here: http://www.rrpicturearchives.net/rsList ... ALPX&cid=4 and here: http://www.rrpicturearchives.net/rsList ... ALNX&cid=4 Hope this helps.

Thxs, that's what I was looking for.

A contact at Alberta Tourism also pointed me to a local site that lists all of these hoppers and including what their status is:
