How about having a hologram of a conductor with a H on its head projected to condescendingly point out this is the first class door

I've never heard the door F bit, but Penn has long usd 'gates' and locations, not that I actually understood the latter. Couple years ago, my wife and I took Acela NYP to DC, and with our luggage, we found Red Caps, one of whom took us right to the car - before boarding had been announced. Super smooth.

Doors with large numbers or letters on them, or doors with a different contrasting color, have been used world wide to distinguish between class of seating on trains. If it great enough for the entire world, why is it not great enough for Amtrak?

I made the part south of New York City, inspired by The EGE's map of the northern section. I also used a 2012 ETT but if you have an updated one, please PM me as well, I will try to update it. Nice that some sections are faster now!

Are the maps by you and EGE available by linking them to a public webpage?

Lots of slower locations even NYP - WASH. All the seconds lost add up. Now starting to eliminate them will eventually allow for some schedule reductions.

Is an Avelia trip to MD around New Year’s Day at all likely? I still haven’t seen one in person nor heard of any recent travels down to Union Station or Ivy City.

Map is great. Thanks for that. Seems like there are a few places where there are short sections of slower track between long stretches of high-speed tracks. Maybe some straightening of these would be possible?

I'm guessing in this case it specifically refers to the Monmouth Junction - Princeton Junction - Hamilton stretch that has the new constant tension catenary. It'll be cool seeing the Acelas blast through there at 150, assuming this change takes effect soon.

Thought it was supposed to be 165?
