AAPRCO Special Trip to Scranton-Possibly Cancelled??

It is being reported that at least the Vermont Portion of this trip scheduled for September 18th and 19th, 2006 has been cancelled. Can anyone confirm this and supply additional information and/or links to same?

The trip is running with one major change. Instead of running on the VRS through Rutland to Bellows Falls and on the NECR to St. Albans and then to Burlington and down to Rutland and back to Whitehall, the train will now run from Albany on the D&H to Rouses Point, then to Canctic QC and down to St. Albans. It will layover night there and then run down to Palmer MA on the NECR and then west on CSX back to Albany.

As always, subject to last minute changes.
