9/20/20: Derailment at 14/8 on the (A).

Homeless saboteur put something on the tracks causing an (A) train to derail this morning.

Ugly scene. Thankfully minor injuries.

That R46 went through some damage. I heard NBC describe it as "like a sardine can opened". Can this be fixed? Doesn't look like too much a rebuild can do.

Frank Jezycki, Head of Subways for NYC Transit, said there was "significant damage to the track bed and track components as well as some damage to the structural steel columns in between the tracks."

I hope DeBlabio doesn't give this perp a "no bail" release!!!

The mayor doesn't give anyone a no bail release. That's done by the judge in court. The mayor has nothing to do with the court process.
