5 Locomotive exchange on SEPTA's procurement

Does anyone know which locomotives SEPTA wants to exchange? No specific locomotive is listed on any of the procurement pages.

Is there any more concise explanation to what any of this particularly means?

SEPTA has had a budget item for replacing 3 work locomotives. Cannot see the bid docs so cannot say for sure.

SEPTA received funding from the Feds to replace the diesels with more fuel efficient/lower emission models.

51, 52, 60, 61, and either 50 or 70, depending on who you talk to. The original plan was to buy five or six more like the 80, but I guess they'll be right back in square one of multiple builder hell.

70 is going to get replaced and SEPTA should've buy a tier 4 and put it inside 70 instead of getting a new one

I think that if they were to maybe save 1 of those locomotives, it should be the SW1200 or BL15. the only reason I say those 2 is because I believe they get used the most (for wire trains). It's also just because I want to see them in action before the inevitable **SCRAP** comes. If i know anything about septa its ( 0 things get saved). hopefully the SW1200 or BL15 do.
