Look at this list from ICC stats:

"Pittsburgh & Northeastern" 1908-11. Chartered to build from Punxsutawney to Port Perry near Pittsburgh. Busted, re-incorporated:

"Pittsburgh & Norteastern Terminal" 1911-16. Busted, re-incorporated:

"Pittsburgh & Northern Terminal" 1916-20. Had 200 yards of line at the end of its existence.

This looks like one or more of the main-line companies around Punxsutawney wanted to stage an invasion of Pittsburgh, and didn't get very far! Candidates:

Erie
New York Central
Buffalo, Rochester & Pittsburgh
Buffalo & Susquehanna
Pittsburg, Shawmut & Northern

Of course, the BRP finally got to Pittsburgh (sort of), and some of the proposal would have paralleled it. I suspect the B&S as a prime mover early on, because it also went bust in 1916 as far as I know, but which company wanted to keep the charter alive until 1920?

And where was the 200 yards?
