Ridgefielder- it's a Rambler. And a '55/56 Ford in the background.
In 1946, according to Vol.2 of Richard C. Carpenter's RR Atlas of the US, the NH did not interchange with the B&A in Worcester- it just met the B&M on the west side of Union Station. I know it's the wrong time period and not an actual track plan, but (shrugs, raises eyebrows).
And those B&M, MEC, Canadian box cars were probably newsprint. I'm more likely to buy a Rambler than a paper.
