The 1941 map shows a dotted line headed west from Bay Head past Lakewood. Any idea what this represents? The only thing I can think of is the route of a planned but never completed interurban line from Point Pleasant Beach to Lakewood.

That's just the boundary line between the New York Zone and the Eastern Region.
