R160 made in Lincoln & Yonkers

Post by bharatr612 »

I found a tag in an R160 railcar that said it was made in Yonkers and Lincoln (see pic on my blog at http://eone.vox.com/library/post/jun-15 ... -r160.html)
What is made in Lincoln and what is made in Yonkers? And how does it make the cross country trip?

That's the old Otis elevator company factory, located right next to the Hudson river, MNRR Yonkers train station. The R-142's were assembled there as well. I have photos ill try to dig up. :-D
The new Path cars are finished up in Yonkers as well.
