This was the site where the NYC's 9x-Big 4, nee T&OC) Peoria / St. Mary's Branch x'd the B&O Toleod / Cincinnati line.

The interlocking tower was identified as "WX" on the NYC; did it have the same office call on the B&O???

1969 B&O Toledo Division Timetable shows AK Tower at 117.1 miles from Cincinnati as a Day/Night Train Order office with the NYC crossing at grade. Wapakoneta station is shown at 117.6 miles from Cincinnati.

From this Timetable it would appear that the B&O and NYC did not share the same telegraphic call signs. I never worked the territory, so I only know what the Timetable tells me.
