Trainsim.com: what happened?

Post by Literalman » Sun Apr 16, 2017 6:41 pm

For the past few weeks, Google Chrome and Internet Explorer have refused to open Trainsim.com, saying that the site cannot provide a secure connection. I don't even get the choice to continue anyway. This has been a wonderful site for many years for everybody involved in Microsoft Train Simulator, Open Rails, and other sims. I hope it isn't gone for good.

Try to access the site thru the EDGE and Firefox Browsers.
Chrome wont let Java scripts run on it.
Update you Java if possible. Current is Java 8,update 121.

Thank you. Firefox does the job. Now that I can access the site, I can see a discussion about a security change to the site, which for some reason Chrome and Internet Explorer interpreted as a lack of security.
