Heard through the grapevine that a spur could be rejuvenated into the old Limecrest facility once serviced by the LHR. Braen Stone has apparently taken over operations there and are considering using the rails to ship products. They are supposedly pumping out one of the mines that has since filled in with water. Braen Stone also has an operation off Cork Hill Road in Franklin, along the line of the old Sterling Mine Spur once also serviced by the LHR. No definite dates have been set, but it's possible it may happen in the next year or so. Interesting to note that Thomas Edison at one time owned the facility at Limecrest in the early 1900's, before moving his facility to Warren County.
