EDRJ derailed but did not know and 28N found the damage. Thankfully doesn't seem to be a major event.

Hopefully, the Greenfield Recorder link holds, otherwise < buckland derailment > into a search bar should get you there: http://www.recorder.com/buckland-train- ... ay-4561405" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
It looked like slurries through the trees in the photo, and a nearby school wasn't evacuated.

14R today had 20-30 VTR salt cars and a slug of at least 25 new painted SNC boxcars.

Salt would come from upstate NY like Lansing? Or maybe the original G&W?

Are they still setting these salt blocks off at Hoosick Junction/Hoosick Middle or are they running them through to Deerfield?
Did we ever hear a music sweeter than the one that thrills, as it floats along the Deerfield, as it echoes o'er the hills.
How we watch that little engine as it stalks across the plain; was there ever music sweeter, was there ever sight completer, than the coming of the train?

No idea on location, but previous car reports via Fritz indicate they are Cargill reporting marks

Is there a sight worse than a rabid foamer sprinting towards your clean angle with a tripod, so he can set up two feet from the rails?

If it's Cargill it could be its Cayuga Salt Mine at Lansing, NY. The other two Cargill De-icing Technology mines are much further away at Cleveland, OH and Avery Island, LA

Tonight something rare ran through West Deerfield. Running west, a not really too long freight with mid train power. Never saw that on PAS before.
