With only 1 unit on-line, the 501 came ROARING up the hill from BALDWIN to Prospect Park dragging a Dash-9W and 129 mty Hopps! By the time the middle of the train was passing me the 501 was up to 45mph and Flying!! From what I heard on my scanner earlier in the evening the 9440 had just reached her 92-day-inspection time and could not be used as the leader. Let alone be turned on. So the crew spun the power inside PECO and the 2730 did the honors! By me at Prospect Park Sta.
