The GP15D CEFX 1501-1510 and GP20D CEFX 2001-2040,where are these units at now? Are the railroads using them or are they stored? I know that Mr. Micheal Eby has the drawings of these on his website, this comes from Mr.Terry Reddick. However I too am curious about these two locomotives?

These units are leased to Union Pacific. I saw one operating in Houston about a week ago. Did not catch the number. But I believe that they are mostly run in Texas, and I'm not sure if any are stored.

It strikes me thatn these units are sort of mongrels, being Railpower locomotives with an EMD electronic system. I wonder who provides technical support for them; EMD or Wabtec/MPI?

Railpower isn't involved with them. They were built by MPI and marketed by EMD. As to who provides support for them, that's a good question and I would guess that it's probably MPI... but I can't say for sure.
