Couple of questions....

Correct me if I'm wrong but it appears the 38's lack dynamic brakes while the 40's do. Does this pose any operational problems to running them in tandem ?

Also appears the 40's have different side panel air vents and one has a red safety stripe on the cat-walk and the other does not. A bit unusual for UP, no ? Perhaps is one 40 quite a bit older than the other ?
