Soon we will be losing the Conrail blue to CSX or NS colors and logos. Here we can tell of spottings of the conrail blue even if they are patched numbers. Here are some that I have seen.
NS 3046 GP40-2 Binghamton, NY August 2007
NS 3419, 3420 SD40-2 Dillerville Yard Lancaster, PA April 2008
NS 8364 C40-8W Easton, PA April 2008
NS 8339 C40-8W Harrisburg, PA April 2008
NS 5441 SD50 Hershey, PA April 2008
CSX 7304 C40-8W Wellsley Hills, MA August 3, 2008
CSX 7307 C40-8W Beacon Park Yard Boston,MA 2008
These are only the ones I recorded but I also have seen CSX/Conrail in Indiana.

In the yard at Cresson, across the tracks from the viewing stand.

an SD80MAC made a Boston Line run a month or two back, but it only came as far as Framingham if I remember correctly. I think it was Q274/Q293

But do these ever come all the way into Boston anymore cause it is hard for me to get out to Framingham on a daily basis to see if they are there. But I do get to Beacon Park around 5 times a week.

I suggest you sign up on CSX Sightings on YAHOO. It is a great group to join, thats how I get all my CSX whereabouts and that is where I found out the info of the MAC's coming on the B&A. I have yet to see or read a MAC making it all the way to Boston. Save your money, the chances of a MAC coming on the B&A again are rare. Join the group and you will get notices of what power is coming over the line
