This photo of CRI&P geeps smoking it up notes that Alcos were banned from Chicago for too much smoke - I don't believe this really, unless it happened way after the RI folded, because BRC had Alcos until 1999-ish. Anybody know what this guy is talking about?

I once read something about C628s being banned from Los Angeles, but never read or heard anything about Alcos being banned from Chicago.
