Delaware Lackawanna has purchased former GECX 706, an ex-BC Rail M630.

Yesterday it was on GE's interchange with NS at Erie. Renumbered D-L 3000.

Going to Slateford on the NS where they will interchange it to the D-L.

I assume this is the one of thw two GE had that they did not monkey with?

One of the two has Super 7 type electronics in it.

Correct. This is the unmodified one. The other one is numbered 5000.

It was at Portland today(Weds) being picked up by the DL Portland turn.
BTW, NYSW 3666 was in the consist. I am told it was running very well.
There was some minor items that needed to be fixed on it.

The 3000 is in the shop getting new fuel pumps as the Alco was deemed to smoke too much. It also snapped a rod that control the reverser which was repaired on Tues.
