FRA Track Geometry Coach DOTX 216 on the rear of Amtrak 174. 216 sports a recently updated interior and a new "theatre style" glass window in the place of small stock cab windows it once had.

Train 19 Crescent arriving PHL with PACIFIC HOME and KITCHI GAMMI CLUB.

PACIFIC HOME and KITCHI GAMMI CLUB will travel from NOL to NYP on train 20(21).

Caught it in North Elizabeth, NJ this afternoon at around 2:45 PM.

PACIFIC HOME and KITCHI GAMMI CLUB are on train 43(24) from New York to Pittsburgh.

Private car FRANK THOMSON was on train 850(26) from IND to CHI.

They departed IND 1 hour 32 minutes late because one or more people at Amtrak forgot they were supposed to move the car on that train. As a result, the crew had to back the train from Union Station to Beech Grove, add the car, return to Union Station, and finally commence their trip to Chicago.

I bet they charge the delay to the PV, despite the fact it was Amtrak’s own mistake that caused the delay.

Private Cars Salisbury Beach, Colonial Crafts and Frank Thomson went on Ethan Allen Express Train #295 yesterday afternoon out of NYP to Rutland, VT.

Four PV’s will be on train 42(11) from PHL to NYP.

One of the four will be CATALPA FALLS. This is the former PRR bedroom lounge car’s first move on Amtrak since at least the 1980s and maybe even earlier!

CATALPA FALLS, COLONIAL CRAFTS and FRANK THOMSON will be on train 43(12) from New York to Pittsburgh; returning on train 42(14).

I believe Colonial Crafts was shopped and Salisbury Beach was substituted for the trip to PGH.

I caught them around 11:40 A.M. while waiting for the dinky. Sorry for poor quality as I had to rush to get phone out. Here are pics of them heading west through Princeton Junction. Engine 630 was leading. I believe Colonial Crafts was second in the consist. Catalpa Falls was third and looked right at home speeding through.

Looks like COLONIAL CRAFT’s problem(s) were corrected in time for departure. It’s a Tuscan Ted trio along the Broad Way of the PRR today.
