Also what was the actual reason as to why MARC had to break the lease agreement with the LIRR last year-If I recall correctly wasn't the LIRR supposed to be getting two additional eight car sets from MARC?
Can anyone confirm?

Same practice as last year.
So in other words, the commuter gets shafted for the Hampton vacation folks.
Pretty much the commuter who has to take the train loses. Starting yesterday both my trains were now 1 car short for a total of three cars. Going to be another fun summer.
