My neighbor is a Brit from Manchester. Bunch of us in the court were going out one night to hit a couple microbreweries, so we asked him. I called it the Ale Trail. He asked where the train was. Huh? Seems this is a Brit tradition, bunch of guys get on the local trains and hit pub after pub.

Anyplace to do that?

Stateside, this"tradition" has turned into a marketing ploy by some commuter operators and state tourist committees.
Along the NMRX routing, there are plenty of "micro/craft breweries" scattered between the Endpoints.
Also involves the local bus operations in Santa Fe and ABQ, allows all to enjoy and not get picked off for DWI.
