Wondering if the fire at the Dragon Cement plant in Thomaston, Maine this week (where these cars except the fly ash come from)
will affect any shipments?

Dragon Plant Manager Martin Turecky said Wednesday afternoon that no customers will be affected and distribution of cement is continuing. He said that the production line that mills down clinker into cement was not damaged.

Guess we'll wait and see.

Update: 11 April 2019

All Quiet on the Millis line.

Big shout out to Matt & his Mom while we watched the Mass Costal 2010 and 12 Mass DOT Ballast cars being filled at the West Mill staging area.

Watched them move North to the siding while the CSX 731 passed by with 43 cars in tow.

Question..... Is there some kind of a freight car, boxcar, flat car, etc, on a short siding in Millis way down in the vicinity of Cole Ave, High St, Main St area? Looks like there is a lot of tracks that lead to nowhere.
