This AM, CSX 731 backed the following on the Millis Spur:

TILX 30749
TILX 30854
TILX 31227

Bay Colony staff were waiting and the 1701 moved these to Island Road for unloading.

Going back through 2017/2018's posts, it appears there was about a 3 week break in April of this year. But it looks like activity continued through the winter.

I'm guessing that the Millis line should receive 8 - 10 cars before the concrete plant closes for the winter.

That should give Tresca plenty of Safety Stock until spring.

OBTW, The Bird/GAF roofing shingle plant, that the Bay Colony once serviced, has been razed. Only the stone tower remains.

Happy New Year everyone !!

Update: 11 Jan. 2019

The following cars are spotted at Island Road waiting to be off-loaded:

TILX 31408 (empty)
TILX 30867 (Full)
CAIX 95712 (Empty)

I could be mistaken but I believe these cars were in the Hopedale yard last week next to the new silos.

They remind me of the once 'hard to catch in action' G&U from 10+ years ago.
You can find a ton of photos online, but a few months ago I bought the Bay Colony Millis DVD from Blackstone River Productions. Great purchase and definitely worth it for $10.00
