These two pics were taken by the late William Hollingsworth in 1951. I have no further info nor a more accurate date, but thought they would be worth sharing here.

Could the location possibly be Varysburg?

The caboose picture was taken at the Route 39 West Main Street crossing at the PRR crossing. The train is heading North and is just clear of Main Street. The barn structures are part of the lumber property. They must have sat here for a time, as I have several pictures from this location. There was a trip like this run in May 1950. On that trip, there were 111, 110, an Erie combine, 5 Erie still wells, caboose 303 and caboose 304. The Erie combine seemed to have stayed on the north end of the train that year. On Page 52 of the Lewis book, there is a photo of one of the specials at Attica with the train backed into the station. It is marked 1952 but looks like combine right behind locos.
