Bushwick near the tracks was a no-mans land. Now there's a large beer garden opening by the footbridge on Scott ave, and there's some other club called 'brooklyn mirage' on the other side of the tracks (which was closed soon after it opened, since it is constructed almost entirely of scaffolding - I kid you not).
It used to be that only people with severe mental issues or drug habits would want to be anywhere near them stinky tracks. Now... it's kids with money. I guess if you're drunk or high you don't notice the smell from the trash cubes...
