The Red Springs and Northern Railroad Foundation is pleased to announce that we will be holding our annual Rail Fan Day ride on Saturday, September 26th,2015. The ride will cover the entire 13 mile RS&N line from Red Springs, NC to Parkton, NC. and return and will leave from the Red Springs & Northern depot in Red Springs, NC at 10:30AM SHARP!

You will travel aboard one of our former railroad maintenance trailer cars for an out in the open up close look through the fields and forests, Carolina bays and backwoods that make up so much of Robeson County. Our round trip adventure will take about 4 hours and will include several stops along the way for pictures as well as a lunch stop in Lumber Bridge, NC

Red Springs and Northern will be providing a BBQ and Fried Chicken lunch with the fixing's which is included in the cost of your ticket
Ticket price will be $25.00 per person payable by cash or check only, NO CREDIT CARDS! Tickets may be purchased by calling 910-285-6242 and reservations are recommended! Tickets may be picked up on the day of the ride at the depot in Red Springs,NC located at 100 North Main St. at the railroad crossing .Ticket reservations may also be made by sending your request to [email protected], please include your full name, telephone number and the number of tickets you would like to purchase and we will call you back to confirm.

The Red Springs and Northern Railroad Foundation is a
501c3 nonprofit organization and all proceeds will go back into the foundation for continued safety education, preservation and restoration of the rail line as well as the history of the railroads of Robeson County and all of North Carolina.
