How are they fueling the 1701? Is a local oil company doing it?
Seen behind the motorman on the inside wall of a PCC departing "Riverside" many years ago: "Pickpockets are on duty for your convenience."
Ive seen a Howie oil truck pulling away from it but never saw it fueling it. im sure thats how its fueled.

From what I can deduct, it takes these cars about 10-14 days transit time from the Brunswick Me PAR/MERR interchange to Millis. Can anyone trace these cars to be confirm.

Dragon Cement is on their annual winter shutdown. The last time I saw cement cars moving on the Maine Eastern was the 4th, and that was an eastbound. (Empties coming back.) I don't know when production is supposed to resume.
