I've seem numerous statements that the majority of immigrants landing at Ellis Island who didn't go to New York embarked on their journeys on the CNJ but I've never seen any references to original sources on this. Do any of you folks know of any original sources? I wonder if there are any Ellis Island ticket sales records preserved.

There is info on two historic societies that may have further details on immigrants use of CNJ from ellis island.
