I have created this post for anyone with questions on the Bellefonte Historical Railroad. We operate two Budd RDC-1's over ex-PRR trackage in Centre, Blair and Clinton counties in Pennsylvania. Volunteers always welcome.

As of April 26, I can't find out when regular service (other than dinner trains) begins. A non-railfan co-worker who will be in Bellefonte this weekend asked me about the train.

I like Budd RDC's because I was too young to get mad at them for displacing steam engines on my home railroad (PRSL).

We have had to suspend current operations until our lessor can offer us a reasonable track operating agreement where we don't lose $500 each time we run a train on publically owned (their) tracks.

Last thing I read about BHRR is that although an agreement has apparently been reached to operate the RDC's again, all the windows in both cars have to be replaced with new ones that conform to newer FRA regs. Until then, they will continue to sit.
