After a few weeks of not listening to the scanner I heard the Esperance detector now announcing CP detector mile post 503.3.
It used to announce D&H detector etc, and end with "have a safe day" and also have an audible tone before it gave the announcement. Now it just announces CP detector with the detector information.

It's another part of the D&H which has disappeared into the CP.

They have been replacing detectors. They put in a new one in Cooperville, replaced Spellman Rd., Port Kent, Westport. The Whitehall detector was acting up and they replaced it. The old one said mp72.8, but the new one says mp 72.9. The Ticond. and Saratoga decectors were replaced a few years ago.
Within the last few weeks, the Ushers detector was changed. Esperance is the next one south.
