I would hope not, but I think that's what's going to happen. 4216 is slowly on its way back to life (as evidenced by its periodic returns to the shops, as well as Rudy's past statements), so the only part unit they have is 4231. They had 4240, but it was scrapped two years ago. I imagine that it would be hard for them to use one part unit for four operable units.
Also, it was 742, not 740 as previously reported, that was scrapped last week. Here's a photo of it (incorrectly labeled as 799, but it is 742) during scrapping (photo also not mine):
