The three locomotives in Maine are all in service, namely 488, 764 and 3573. At least they were as of Wednesday when I was there.

SVC = Serviceable (Operational or down for minor running repairs)
OOS = Out of Service

RRPX is a leasing company owned by M&E president Wes Weis.

I was in Maine two weeks ago to work on some of the passenger cars. The Alexander Hamilton and the Pine each got two wheelsets replaced, and we did a 92-day on #488.

According to this months railpace it was said that M&E got former CP C424 4204 from CN by way of RRPX. any truth to it.

As you may known, MTANJ is a participant in the annual Toys for Tots trains.

... And went back to Allentown on 39G today. I would guess that it will be brought to Washington on tomorrow's H65, for pickup by H02 on Friday.

Any idea if this unit is going to be used or will be parted and eventually scrapped like the M636 they acquired six years ago?
