Exactly which lines owned by PRR came from the PFW&C? Obviously the Fort Wayne line to Chicago, but where did this start? Downtown P-burgh, Conway Yard, Rochester Jct, somewhere else? Did the Fort Wayne have any branches? I'm guessing the Toledo Branch out of Bucyrus was also a PFW&C line... I've googled the railroad, but can't find any maps of it. Thanks!

The only branch I know of ran from just SE of Fort Wayne down to Decatur, IN, about 15 miles or so.

Don't know about branches.

The eastern end of the PFtW&C was at the station in downtown Pittsburgh. Old-timers used to call the railroad bridge over the Allegheny the Fort Wayne Bridge.

A one time, there was a freight house, the Fort Wayne Freight House just on the downtown side of the the tracks from the station to the bridge. Over on the North Side, now gone to make room for the failed Allegheny Center mall, the Fort Wayne passenger station.

For the freight house, circa 1929, see:

For the passenger station and another freight sttaion, look at the sheets in the lower left of the index map at:
