Cleveland-Marietta line

Post by ohioriverrailway » Tue Jul 04, 2017 10:01 am

I live not too far away from the right-of-way, and know if went through a succession of owners before abandonment in 1976.
I was hoping someone might have info and photos they'd be willing to share.

Somehow I missed this post until today. I was born and raised, right next to the railroad tracks in Marietta. I remember quite a bit about the line from Cambridge on south to Marietta. I do not know a lot about it north of Cambridge. I have some old B&W photos from the 50's somewhere here, if I can find them. Let me know what questions you might have.
