Lew passed away on Sept. 20th.

He had started as a yard clerk with the NYC in the mid-1960's on the Hudson division, then progressed to agent-operator and train dispatcher on the PC Metropolitan Region at 466 Lexington Ave.

Lew was ATDA Office Chairman and then General Chairman.

He was very helpful in providing answers to questions raised about the NYC and PC and was a member of both historical societies.

I remember Lew quite well, he was also a trainmaster at Oak Point. He was a great common sense railroader and an absolute gentleman at all times. He was well liked and respected by just about everybody.
