Just stumbled on this forum. Great site. I've been a RR fan for years

Here's a detailed site on the New Canaan Branch Line
http://www.imediaet.com/ncrr/

(It's listed and endorsed in the New England Railroad History Resources of the University of Connecticut)
http://railroads.uconn.edu/links.htm

If anyone has any further info (especially on the abandoned spurs photographed, I'd love to hear from you.

THANKS

Interesting but I think this one is going to get picked apart at least to a certain extant. I see some stuff that I do not think is true but I am not going to get in to it at this hour, maybe later.

Cute web site. Nice to see those photos of the branch ceollected in one place. One item that needs to be fixed is the photo of Glenbook station. The photo shows the Glenbrook Station on the main line which was eliminated I think when the high level platform work was done in 1972-73. That station never had anything to do with the New Canaan branch.

I keep thinking I'm going to walk through the woods one of these days and see if I can find any remnants of Woodway station but i haven't gotten around to it yet

Thanks for the feedback - anything else you could think of is worth posting here - I'll will be happy to include it with credit to whoever submitted it.

The site is ancient and due for an overhaul...
