Rare mileage trips

In addition to the trip mentioned on the Metro-North site, there are two
more additional trips this fall over former New Haven territory:
Saturday, October 9, 2004 from Danbury, Connecticut to Pittsfield, Massachusetts and return AND
Sunday, October 10, 2004 from Danbury, Connecticut to Derby Junction,
Connecticut and return.
Mass Bay RRE is sponsoring these two trips and you can check their web
sight at www.massbayrre.org for details.
Here is your chance to do some really nice rare mileage in the height of
the fall foilage season.

Housatonic Trips

Got word that the two Housatonic trips scheduled for October 9th and 10th
have been cancelled.
Seems that they were to use Metro-North equipment but they were not
able to get proper insurance. Makes sense as they required passengers
to sign a release.
Insurance comes before trips.
Sad to see this happen.
