Saw it heading towards Gardner on the P&W at about 1300 today.

That's a damn shame they didn't choose the NH scheme; the other surviving one is in VGN paint, and the units did serve a significant amount of time in the Northeast. The NH paint is a pretty slick design, as well... but oh well. Still better than seeing it rot out in Old Saybrook. Sad I didn't get to see it leave the yard, though, they certainly got it out of there fast!

A couple of weeks ago I had to bring a train to Mohawk Yard, and stopped it in the Controlled Siding West. The motor was on the Glenville Stub, along with a couple of cripples. It was furthest in. Any word as to whether NS has taken it?
