Any good source (web, books) for info on CNE line and ROW from Poughkeepsie Bridge to Campbell Hall in Ulster County, including intermediate stops (Highland, Clintondale Station, Modena, East Walden)?

Refurbished railroad caboose. The village library contains artifacts, films, videos, and photographs of the past. Also, a g-scale model train layout. FREE. April-Oct. Sat & Sun, 1-4.

It is a small museum room in the town library but it is right in the territory you mentioned. People I have met there actually worked on the RR line.
