Bucyrus (now Bucyrus International) is still in business. They however have not built RR cranes for many years.
If Not ,what do they produce ?
Primarily mining-related equipment: Dragline cranes, highwall/longwall equipment, blast hole drills, large mining trucks, conveyors, etc.

Thank You very much for your reply . I know the railroads hire out to crane companies for re-railing but, some railroads still have their own cranes yet and its so nice to see railroad cranes still in use .

Bucyrus International like EMD is shortly to become part of the Caterpillar organization as CAT is in the process of buying them...
Bucyrus hasn't built railroad cranes since at least the 1950's and exited the Construction equipment market completely in the 1980's to focus on the mining industry. Interestingly, their new corporate sister, Cat's Progress Rail unit, does(or did) build hi-rail cranes for the RR industry..

Would Cats Progress Rail be part of Catapillar tractor company ?

The BAR has a Bucyrus railroad crane that looks like one that was used by railroads in the 1940's .
My 2 Uncles were the first 2 employees to retire from Catapillar in the company in 1974 .
