Hydrogen powered trains

Alstom has made Hydrogen powered trains for Germany and Germany replaced their diesel run trains with the Hydrogen run trains.

Would this have any important effect in the USA since Hydrogen is much cleaner than diesel?

It is just entering commercial service. Let’s see how the actual mileage and service requirements actually turn out.

GTELs were supposed to be a solution. They didn’t last long.

don't forget Hydrogen is created with electricity , does it save energy ?? does it prevent pollution ? only if energy is from renewable energy like wind farms or solar.
