Took a hike today along the old right of way looking for artifacts .Found an old Waterbury battery oil bottle,which was used to top off the batteries in track signal batteries .The station unfortunately is on it's last legs,with the rear ( baggage ) area having collapsed and the waiting and ticket area still standing but not looking too good.

That's awful. Maybe I'm completely wrong, but that smells of some town honcho wanting an eyesore
banished from the landscape. Whether that is true or not, it's a darn shame. :(
