CB&Q Ex Troop Sleepers Express Cars

On the B&O every-other-day out of Washington, D.C. was a CB&Q express car going through to Council Bluffs with storage mail. It was usually an ex-troop kitchen car and numbered in the 8800 series. (On the alternate days it was a B&O express car)

But for some reason I think that there were also ex-troop sleepers converted to CB&Q express cars numbered in the 8600 series.

Does anybody know for sure?

If you are interested, I just found out from another source that the CB&Q purchased 300 ex-troop kitchen cars and converted them to express cars 8600-8899.
