I've seen footage of the line in operation in its twilight - late '70s. B&M switcher shuttling cars to Pepperell. The line was so overgrown you couldn't see rails below the grass and weeds. Very slow, 3-5mph track speed. It may have been from the Films of John M. Boardman series - mine's VHS, can't confirm anymore. I know the Boardman series did have fascinating film of a B&M plow extra working the Greenville Branch in West Groton & Townsend right at the end, around 1980. The Greenville past Vose (in West Groton) was abandoned circa 1981..
