WB Tower in Brunswick, Maryland closed for good on Friday December 9, 2011 at 8:45pm. Control will now be by the Dispatcher in Baltimore. The old interlocking had electro-pneumatic switches. No indication that the tower or its model board will be moved or saved.

Norm, did you really mean Jacksonville, as opposed to Baltimore, or am I mistaken?

The dispatchers for this region have all moved to Baltimore from Jacksonville. The are located on the property at Halethorpe. Not sure just how far geographically their control extends.

WB Tower ... we are very close to saving and bringing this tower back to itsGlory Days, color and all. It will be moved directly across the tracks to the grassy area. The Interlocking Plant for East Brunswick & Weverton were stripped of the levers and bulbs when it was decommissioned. It would be great if we could get access to restore both Plants. The original equipment or replacement would be fine.
