Under the USRA during WWI trains to New York were routed to Pennsylvania Station instead of the CNJ terminal. What was the routing? I know from the schedule that Bound Brook was a station stop so I figure they used the Reading from Philadelphia to there. Where did they switch from the to the PRR?

Routing was RDG- LV to Newark via Bound Brook, thence PRR. RDG power was used, which was changed to a PRR electric at Manhattan Transfer.

This subject was recently brought up in the New York State Railfan forum, and the question arose as to where the B&O locomotives were serviced between runs. It would seem that the logical way would have been for the servicing to be performed by the PRR at Meadows, billing the B&O for the work done. Maybe someone on here knows.
